FORD TRANSMISSION TECHNICIAN
We have an excellent opportunity for a Transmission Technician to join our team!
We are offering you an opportunity to work alongside some of the best and brightest technicians in the industry in a newly renovated building!
You’ll stay on top of your game by having access to ongoing training programs, as well as participating in on the job training within our exciting, fast paced environment.
Compensation commensurate with experience - $45-55 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
Examine and diagnose vehicles as outlined in Repair Orders
Discuss repairs with the Service Advisor or Service Manager
Remove and disassemble transmission unit and performs repair/replacement
Provide labor estimates and communicate additional service recommendations to the Service Advisor
Monitor repair time and update Service Advisor
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
Assist in mentoring technician trainees
Attend company and factory training, plus keep current with factory technical bulletins
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report
Knowledge on transmission replacement and repair REQUIRED
Previous Ford experience Preferred
