The Gerald Auto Group is seeking a Warranty Manager for our Nissan, Subaru, Kia and Hyundai franchises. 

 

Candidates should have previous experience in automobile warranty administration and the ability to manage people.       

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support a team of three to four Warranty Administrators
  • Assist the Warranty Administrators with any claim debits and submit appeals if necessary
  • Review, establish and maintain warranty claim processes for maximum efficiency and compliance with manufacturer requirements
  • Support and hold store Service Managers accountable for warranty claims compliance
  • Oversee warranty receivable schedules and work with team to resolve aging items
  • Coordinate training and certification for manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relations with regional representatives.
  • Execute or facilitate occasional internal warranty audits and related reporting and meetings with Service Managers and GM’s. 
  • Provide guidance to service staff for warranty related repair questions.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of common automotive warranty claim eligibility and documentation requirements, dealership service terminology
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience with high-volume dealership warranty claim processing a plus
  • A proactive management style
  • Professional appearance and personality
  • Team player with excellent judgment and communication skills.
