We are seeking a Manager to lead the Customer Service Team (approximately 27 full- and part-time cashiers and receptionists) for our seven dealerships in Naperville and North Aurora to deliver excellent customer service to our patrons.  Secondary responsibilities involve oversight of the team’s assistance with certain accounting related responsibilities.  This position reports to the CFO and CEO.  

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in customer service management, team management, hiring, and excellent communication skills along with scheduling/administration and accounting/detailed process capabilities.  

Essential Duties:

  • Provide job-training for cashiers to ensure courteous, prompt and accurate service to customers (cashiering, phone calls, greeting walk-in guests, and some accounting type duties)
  • Coordination and maintenance of full-time and part-time cashier schedules
  • Cashier/receptionist staffing management – new hire selection and related on-boarding coordination with HR, team development, encouragement, building expectations for excellence, evaluation, discipline, compensation adjustments
  • Support those cashiers involved with certain accounting responsibilities and other duties such as stocking in new vehicles
  • Coordination of an internal monthly dealership compliance inspection performed by team
  • Attend weekly manager meetings for input/feedback regarding customer service issues/needs
  • Occasional possible need to fill-in for team member with last minute schedule change
  • Provide feedback to CFO and CEO on customer call data reports, call routing deficiencies, potential new phone system selection, and other observations which may facilitate a better experience for our customers.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
