Gerald Hyundai Entry Level Service Advisor


Reports to : Service Manager


The position of entry level service advisor will provide the structure necessary to develop into a full time advisor.
You will be provided with the tools, structure, and environment necessary to produce excellent customer service
while maximizing profit opportunities for the dealership.

  • Shift Monday-Saturday 7:00AM-6:00pm
  • Utilize service tools to sell and dispatch work in order to maintain technician productivity
    • Tools: Xtime, Routeboard, pre-writes, Xtime Inspect, 
  • Strong organizational skills to optimize efficiency
  • Customer retention built through proper communication and relationship building

Daily tasks:

  • Write a service ticket from greeting in the drive through the full service process
  • Confirm Next Day Appointments
  • Schedule 1st service appointments for sold customers
  • Call and schedule Special order Parts
  • Complete active delivery of service customers from 6:00pm-8:00pm
    • Cashier, explanation of Repairs completed, answer any questions about services on MPI, complete delivery of service vehicle to the customer
  • Print pre-writes for next days business and organize by advisor/ appointment time
  • Do weekly declined services postcards/calls
  • Assist in processing internal repair orders
  • Provide exceptional customer service with each customer interaction
    • Maintain Customer satisfaction scores above the KIA region/national average
  • Any other  tasks assigned from Service Manager or General Manager
